ELISE DRENNAN & THE LADY BEARS

Thank you to the Springfield News-Leader for shining a spotlight on one of our Champions, Elise Drennan, and her time with Missouri State Lady Bears. 

Elise Drennan’s parents didn’t tell her much when they were taking her to JQH Arena earlier in the season. What the 10-year-old knew was that she was going to meet the players on the Lady Bears, who were 1-7 at the time. When she met the team, sophomore forward Abby Hipp gave Elise an official team shirt. “Maybe they’ll ask me to be on the team,” Elise suggested to her mom…
